Hesketh Out Marsh & Marshside

Post by Neville Root »

Managed to see 2 of the recent influx of wood sandpipers to the NW (at the far end of HOM East) - among 11 waders seen at the 2 sites (others included spotted redshank, greenshank and an impressive flock of 30+ summer plumage golden plover). Good numbers of arctic terns (adults and juveniles) across HOM (E & W).
