Many Great Northern Diver spotted around the coast in Scotland.
Two in Loch Graignish near Crinan Hotel, two in Ardnimish Bay on the Isle of Gigha, one in Loch Aline, off the Sound of Mull. One in Sound of Iona
They favoured area's of relatively shallow water (less than 12m) with sand & mud seabed.
More spotted this year than many previous years. Not sure why, food availability seems most likely
