5 days camping near Benllech on Anglesey. Campsite was full of wildlife - Red Squirrel, Noctule Bats, families of Bullfinch, Nuthatch, Willow Warbler, Linnet and GS Woodpecker making loads of noise. Painted Ladies must have had an influx as loads about amongst Red Admirals and Peacock butterflies.
Visit to Newborough Forest - Crossbills, Ravens and Redstart stood out in the trees, and very close views of Rock Pipit and Shag on Llanddwyn Island.
Penmon Point and Moelfre brought numerous Manx Shearwater, Gannet, Fulmar, Sandwich Terns, Black Guillemot, Kittiwake; and the trip highlight at the latter being both Risso's and Bottle-Nosed Dolphin. At one point a couple of the BN Dolphins swam right below us where we were sat on the small cliffs.
Finally, an adult Mediterranean Gull was on Benllech beach on Saturday morning.
