Just had a great early mornings birding at hesketh out marsh RSPB the highlight being multiple sightings of yellow wagtails ( around 10 birds ) great to hear the flight call regular and birds giving close views at times , full sightings :- 3 shoveler , 3 wigeon ,4 little egret ,several heron , canada geese , bh gull , l bb gull , plenty of lapwing , 2 redshank , 1 greenshank , oystercatcher , plenty of curlew , goldfinch , linnet ,tree sparrow , whitethroat ,corn bunting , meadow pipit , blue tit , starling , swallow , swift , reed bunting , 4 kestrel , 1 hare , common blue , large white , wall brown , meadow brown .
