Cracking day in the grounds of the temple through the woodland and on the beach. Grounds up to fifteen different painted lady butterflies seen on lavender plants and buddleia bushes in the garden. Chiffchaff willow warbler blackcap and whitethroat feeding in bushes and on brambles on woodland edge nuthatch common in wood and large mixed titmice flock through wood. In the creeks and channels viewed from the beach 7 little egrets 4 grey heron 3 cormorants and mixed wader flock curlew godwit redshank and oystercatcher all in all a cracking day at a very lovely site
