Good views from southern side of Preston Dock yesterday.

It provides a good chance to compare a pair of Arctic Terns on an old Swan nest with their Common cousins.

Also great photographic opportunities as only 2 or 3 pontoons in from the side with sun behind.

There were 4 arctic terns at Hesketh Bank last week, with a little egret and c.30 godwits.
