Birds seen in and around North Devon,were 100s of Chiffchaff on some great walks,at least 8 Buzzards one of which flew right over my head,i
realised why,was to close to it's nest,only about 30ft up with young calling,town centres held good counts of House Sparrows.
Nuthatchs,Goldfinch,Blackbirds,Dipper feeding young under a bridge,also lots of Grey Wagtails,Pied Wagtails Stonechats
Along the coast were 100s Herring Gulls,few Lesser black-backed Gulls,5/6 Fulmer on a boat trip,Oystercatcher,Cormorant,
Coach trip thru Exmoor National Park we saw about a dozen Exmoor Ponies.
Star Bird for me was a Rock Pipit which there were 2,Photo Below

Did you know Britain highest road is in Porlock,it's 25% steep,and the driver just managed to get up.
