Visited Radipole Lake & Lodmoor RSPB sites,a most enjoyable week,sunshine every day,23/5 - 27/5. :D
6 New bird ticks,1 Odonata.
Lots of birds on Radipole lake,Sedge Warblers in their hundreds, also of Reed Warblers,at least 6 Bearded Tits but were seen but hard to photograph them, but I got lucky,Cetti's Warblers, walk 30 feet and another singing his head of,and again and again
but were sulking,Marsh Harrier were seen a few times but were distant,Lots of Gadwall, few Pochards,Gulls by the thousands, mostly Herring & Juv Lesser black-backed,Little Egrets 4/5,
Hooded Merganser,what a beauty,but origin unknown,
Odonata sighting were disappointing, probably a bit to early, but managed I new species.
A few pictures to follow.
