45 species this morning went in hope last nights rain had brought some new waders in but no luck highlights were 2 marsh harrier , 2 peregrine , 1 little egret , 5 little grebe , 30/40 ruff , 1 black tailed godwit ,hundreds of lapwing , 6 wigeon , a few more of shoveler , lots of teal , fem kinfisher , young magpie eating a peacock butterfly , there has been 4/5 marsh harrier seen so theres always a chance that 1 or 2 may drift over onto croston/mawdesley moss .
