Fairly quiet on the water, mostly BH Gulls, LBB Gulls, Herring Gulls, 1 GBB Gull, GC Grebe, Cormorant & 2 Herons. More activity in the reed beds & scrub though with Sedge Warblers & young, Reed Warblers, Reed Buntings, heard1 & saw 1 Cetti`s Warbler. A Pike was swimming amongst the reed bed nearby. Whitethroat in the scrub with 2 Chiffchaffs singing, a family of LT Tits B/G Tits, Wren with young, Goldfinch, Blackcap. Good number of Swifts, Swallows & House Martins.
Butterflies; 2 Painted Lady. 1 Red Admiral. a few Small Tortoiseshell & Meadow Browns. 1 Speckled Wood & Lots of Gatekeepers.
