Red-throated Diver

Post by peter rowlands »

Red-throated Diver this afternoon on Fairhaven Lake. Went over to Marshside Friday 20-2-15 at high tide. Hundreds of waders. Cormorants on a long thin stretch of land not breached by the sea, one mass of black feathers, impossible to count but in the hundreds. The incoming tide flushed lots of birds, including scores of Skylark being driven in with 2 Curlews. 3 Grey Partridge & a poor pic of a Stoat in part ermine.
