Winter female Garganey. Pennington Flash, Leigh
Seen for tha past week from Ramsdale Hide. I took this pic yesterday about 9.30 am. This is the first recorded winter Garganey in the Gtr Manchester area. It is thought to be the same bird that arrived for a few weeks in the autum & then disappeared. I have been to,d that another is to be found in Cley, Norfolk.
