flowers:
marjoram, mikalmas daisy, tormentil, ribwort plantain, tree mallow, hedge bindweed, sea bindweed, spearmint, great mullein, ground elder, bittersweet, birds foot trefoil, greater birds foot trefoil, honeysuckle, shining crane's bill, tufted vetch, cut leaved cranes bill, common toadflax, ivy leaved toadflax, purple toadflax, agrimony, scarlet pimpernel

birds:
little egret, black headed gull, robin, jackdaw, rook, feral pigeon ( very very tame ones that perched on my head and ate seed.) great black backed gull. once heard a gs woodpecker.

Great to see you are learning more about flowers, and thanks again for those you report from the Chorley district.

ps having also read your post about the kingfisher, my reaction was also OUCH re wasp stings
