Tincklers Lane Eccleston.

There was a dead Barn Owl on the grass verge at the side of the road near to the farm buildings on the right hand side as you're leaving Eccleston, the bird was unringed.

Despite the rain managed to get my first Wheatear of the year, not much else around in the rain though I did see a pair of Lapwings mating ( the only pair left)

I had my first Swallow of the year flying over this morning, I still haven't seen any House or Sand Martins though I haven't been down to the river yet to look for Sand Martins, also 3 Oystercatchers, only 1 pair of Lapwings left on the big field there were at least 4 pairs a few weeks ago...if the ...

2 Shelduck were flying east above the river, also seen 5 Oystercatcher, 3 Lapwings, a small flock of 15 Teal, 14 Meadow Pipits, 5 singing Chiffchaff, 1 Tree Creeper, 1 Coot, 2 Moorhens, 12 Canada Geese, 1 Cormorant, 5 Song Thrush, 1 Mistle Thrush, 8 Pied Wagtails and 1 Stock Dove.
