2 small skeins high over Croston North Park this morning at 7.30am.About 30 birds heading towards the coast.

A Hobby was present this morning about 8.30 as I cycled across Red Bridge on Eyes Lane. Also 2 Oystercatcher there. Seems like today is good for bird families in Croston. Adults with young in the garden this morning include; House Sparrow, Greenfinch, Robin and Goldfinch.

Cuckoo on Croston Moss

BirdTrack users may have seen a post yesterday for a Cuckoo in Croston.
I met the people today who made the post.
The bird has been present for 2 days but is on private land in the area between Carr Lane/Grape Lane/Syd Brook Lane.
I have my lugholes pinned back but no luck this evening!
