Cheers Gary...it was a surprise to see it where it was on the top of the telegraph pole, there were some Fieldfares feeding in the bush which kept chasing it off.

Thanks Leonard, I just caught it as it flicked the berry off the branch before catching it and swallowing it, unfortunately the auto focus was on the branch in front of the bird! Croston Moss, Sumners+Finney Lane.

Fairly quiet with the best birds being 4 Whoopers together 2 adults and 2 Juveniles, one of the adults neck ringed tho too distant for me to read it, 1 Stone chat, 10 Lapwings, 16 Moorhen, 20 Mallards at least 8 Yellowhammers, 3-400 Woodpigeon and several Fieldfares

An hours walk along Sumners Lane this morning produced sightings of 2 Gt.Spotted Woodpeckers, 2 Grey Partridge, 6 Meadow Pipits, 3 Tree Sparrows, 2 Corn Buntings, a flock of 60+ Linnets, small numbers of Fieldfares and Redwings, 4 Moorhens and a pair of Gooseander on the river seen from the bridge b...

Counted over 450 Pinkfeet in an hour and a half this morning with 71 heading South West, 8 north, 55 west, 65 East and 260 South west also 14 Pied Wagtails, 1 Cormorant, 1 Gt.Black Backed Gull, 1 Raven flew through low, 25 Jackdaws, 3 Greenfinch, 5 Reed Buntings, 4 Long Tailed Tits and a Chiff Chaff.

6 Swallows flew through low over the fields heading south apart from 27 Pinkfeet over it was pretty quiet.
