Another good place I found on the bird race was Anglezark, where you might also see redstart, spotted flycatcher and pied flycatcher

Holly Blue

We had a Holly Blue at Cuerden on Friday 27th just outside the Barn in the Ivy, (Why does that remind me of a Christmas song?). Another one was seen by Stag Lodge on Cuerden as one of the bird race teams was having a meal breakon Saturday 28th.

Bluebells

Bluebells in their thousands in Roddlesworth and Cuerden (north). Worth a walk to both see and take in the perfume.
