Only one young Dipper at the Weir late afternoon. Apparently one was taken by an Heron this morning. Just one Mandarin seen. All Cygnets and the one Gosling doing well. Coots with five young on the Big Lodge.

Similar to Len yesterday. Also, 2 Treecreepers. 1 Coal Tit. 2 Goldcrest. 1 Pied Wagtail and a single Curlew over.

3 pairs and 3 single drake Mandarin congregating at the top end of the big lodge near the channel this evening. Fascinating to see them close together. No sign of any young although someone said there were 12 this morning. Cormorant on the raft.

Usual birds. The Canada Geese has still got its one Gosling and the Mute Swans on the top Lodge has still got eight Cygnets. A pair of Mandarin on the river, and a single male on the big lodge. The dipper was downstream from the Weir collecting invertebrates then flying back upstream. Two Treecreepe...
