Like the blog Ian. We had a family holiday in Cala Galdana a couple of years and the most seen bird from our apartment were pied flycatcher. Cala Llonga in Ibiza a year later was a great place for fish diving Audoin's gulls.

15 swifts together over the RSPB car park at Marshside early this morning, they are about, just not many in Chorley (yet).

I live on Gillibrand N off YV Way and was thinking exactly the same thing. I have an online account with the Council and have sent a complaint to their grounds and maintenence dept and will post their reply. You can set up your own account by going to www.chorley.gov.uk
