Nice shots Tony -from my experience of workshops etc, even the experts of long standing will not go any further than genus -they require specimens to go to species. There are some exceptions but they prove the rule as they say.

Informed by Ben Hargreaves that there are new records at Grimsargh Reservoir and on the edge of the Pennines east of Burnley for this bee,so now definitely worth looking out for.

You can try the NBN atlas - https://nbnatlas.org/ -type in a postcode for the search -but it is very much out of date and incomplete IMHO iRecord is better as at least records are verified by experts - https://irecord.org.uk/ -there is an app for recording as well as the website and well worth doing...
