Apparently, there are 170,000 in the UK and have even been reported in NI, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The only place in the UK I've ever seen them is in London.

I didn't see the Mandarin but saw 3 Goosander (2m 1f) that I could see but I admit that I didn't spend as much time as I should have done at the lake.
I'm hoping to return soon.

How many Goosander have been spotted in the past and is the Heronry still active?
