We did our usual walk around the valley - on the way back we had another look at the lodge, the Cormorant was drying itself in the little bit of sunshine we got this morning. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-4VoZeO9cvYs/Ts_ZTH291NI/AAAAAAAA7Hg/toiQcxNIArE/s640/Cormorant%25252025.11.11%252520%25252...

Hi Gary we saw these heading south around 8.35am this morning, we were on the Lower Burgh Meadow, I could only say they were geese :) Could they be the pinkfoot you saw? https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JPQXf2O6Ylc/Tqf8tkTbmLI/AAAAAAAA6Bw/rLMdlqwfROg/s640/Geese%25252026.10.11%252520%252520%2525281...

We found them in 2008 & 09 but not last year. There are times we avoid the log as we are not as nimble these days, so we probably missed them. Will have a look this year. Golden Spindle - Clavulinopsis fusiformis taken in August 2008 near slippery log. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oSLeEB1k...
