Worthington Lakes
Pair of mandarins amongst the teals. 2 mealy redpolls amongst a group of approx 15 lesser redpolls in Arley Woods. Lots of activity with several mixed groups of tits, goldcrest, treecreepers and nuthatches. Female great spotted woodpecker but sadly no lesser spotted.

hi Chris, Mossfield is the area behind Wolseley (opposite Multipart). Information boards have been put up and I'm fairly sure this is what they've called it. I walk my dogs here regularly and the area does occasionally throw up good sightings. Last year I had jack snipe, green sandpiper, little ring...

Buckshaw Barn Owl
Barn owl flew over the road and circled around Multipart car park at 8pm last night. I occasionally see tawny owls but this is the first barn owl I've seen here. It flew back across to the Mossfield Reserve after a few minutes.
