Just heard the sad news that a local has drowned in the quarry at the weekend. That must of been the reason he was perched on the church, police, fire engines, helicopter activity.

St Johns Peregrine

Just returned from Braintree bmxing with my family, great to be back in lancashire. First thing i see is the Tiercel perched on one of the gargoyles, this is the first time i have witnessed this. Keep a look out Chris. :wink:

I think they said it was a female because of its size, not sure if the result of DNA could of been returned yet?? the ringer went off the pitch of the calls from each bird. I dont know enough to say but the 2nd falcon was much bigger than the friday bird. Only a thought.

Peregrine Rescue.

One of the chorley chicks has fallen out the the nest, one of chorleys raptor lads was on hand and looked after it while he sorted a ladder.Good Work Guys you know who you are!!Lets hope it stays there .
