Had a good few hours at the above sites yesterday morning. Duke of Burgundy showing well at GB plus Pearl Bordered Fritillary, Dingy Skipper -- with probably 6 Broad Bodied Chasers at MA. House Martins Collecting Nesting Material, Blainscough Field

As last year House Martins are again collecting nesting material from the same farm track pool , Blainscough Fields , Coppull. It has been suggested that the photo could be a Large Red Damselfly. The more I compare it with my book illustrations the more confused I get. My knowledge of the subject is limited. Can the experts out there pass an opinion please. Regards
