One buzzard being chased away by local crows. (Also two old buzzards spotted at NorthWest Bird Fair- David and Colin.)

This bird was quite approachable, but the goosander kept its distance.

Great white egret and plenty of waders at the pools.Please help indentify some of them in the Gallery. Can anyone see a curlew sandpiper?

Silhouettes.

Could 2380 have been a Honey buzzard with its two pointed tail feathers? It simply glided east from over the top of the quarry without a single flap of its wings , unlike 2370 which repeatedly flapped a couple of times then glided sparrowhawk-like ? Or is this wishful thinking? Unfortunately I didn'...
