8-12-23; Lots of Jelly Ear and Candlesnuff Fungus and other fungi species throughout the reserve yesterday.

Nice to chat to Edie Langrish at the feeding station today. I saw 3 Willow Tits this morning. 2 at the feeding station and 1 on a feeder near to the rugby field. An early couple of hours around the Finney Lane area. 8 Tree Sparrows, a few Redwings, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Oystercatcher, several Reed Buntings and a flock of around 30 Linnets around the compound area. 19 Canada Geese on one of the flooded fields. Primrose Fields, Euxton

A short visit to the fields this morning. A few Fieldfare and Redwings flying around. 20-30 Black headed Gulls. 9 Magpies. 30+ Woodpigeons. Several Jackdaws and Rooks. 1 Nuthatch.
