Finney Lane; Lots of birds around the compound area; Two Yellow Wagtails showing well. Several Pied Wagtails, some young one in the mix. Pincock Street, Euxton

Female Mandarin with 3 young by the river bank. Lots of small fish in the river. Mayflies and 1 Banded Male Demoiselle. Lots of small birds singing.

Pump House Lane

Oystercatcher with 1 young. Lots of Starlings, some feeding young. 2 Yellowhammer. 17 Canada Geese over. 3 Stock Dove and 2 Collared doves 1 Chiffchaff. B/G Tits and a pair of Linnets. Robins. Chaffinch. Blackbirds. Woodpigeons and Corvids.1 Kestrel. And House Sparrows bathing in a pool.

The Whinchat was still showing well late afternoon near no 24 building. Also showing well was a Barnacle Goose in the same area.

Preston Marina

80+ Common Tern and and at least 3 pair of Arctic Terns on the Pontoons on the Marina. 10+ Barn Swallows with some feeding young, the young being very vocal. 3 Cormorants and lots of gulls and Feral Pigeons.
