I found a really green caterpillar as well but just in Clayton Brook at the Lord Nelson. I couldn't get a decent photo as I had to use my phone.

a family member really think they have seen a white admiral on a wheel at Walkdens garage in Chorley.
I have shown them pictures of butteflies in Britain and also moths and they firmly believe it is the white admiral.
