my garden -Euxton 8/2

Grey Wagtail feeding on lawn whilst snow was falling.
3 Tree Sparrows daily on seed feeders but House Sparrow rarely seen.
Despite increasing amount of food put out over last few weeks due to cold snap there are less birds appearing ---hopefully not a sign of not surviving the cold

Regular visits from Rooks--2 4/12, 3 6/12, 8 9/12, 3 10/12, 3 13/12, 4 26/12 with smaller numbers on other dates
Goldfinch--21 10/12, 12 13/12, 20 26/12, 11 31/12
Long-tailed tit--7 20/12, 5 25/12, 10 29/12
Mistle Thrush--1 on 23 & 24/12
Jackdaw--2 26/12
plus usual common garden birds

thanks to David for showing me the Snipe 21/11--we saw c10 along with a few Sky Larks,2 Mallard and a Kestrel.
also possible Jack Snipes--at least 2 --unfortunately had got too dark--hopefully i will return in daylight to check

c200 Black-headed Gulls,1 LBB,a few Mallard but no Goosander. a superb flock of birds just down path to Lead Mines Clough--female Gt Spotted Woodpecker,Nuthatch,2 Marsh tits,lots of Blue and Great tits,a few Coal tits,at least 2 Goldcrests possibly 4,Chaffinches,1 Jay and Robin c80 BH Gulls on Angle...

17/11Snipe not seen-maybe i was looking in wrong place--can you give more direction detail?
c75 gulls mainly black-headed but also 6 LBB
2 Kestrel and a few crows and magpies.
