Late morning visit
20 Canada Geese, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Kestrel (Jessy), 6+ Mallard, hundreds of Gulls & 2 Mute Swans; 100+ Starling and more gulls in the field near the River Yarrow, put to flight by a Peregrine Falcon. 2 Skylark, Woodpigeon, Carrion Crow, 1 Moorhen on River Douglas.

John, I think the female Shoveler was still there, it was sat on the water with its head tucked in for most of the time, but I briefly saw it raise its head and noted the long beak. There were a group of 7 ducks in front of a strip of reeds, I think at least 4 of them were Wigeon (in partial eclipse...

Birds seen/heard - 12 Canada Geese over, 1 Pheasant, 1 Meadow Pipit, 1 Stonechat flushed, 3 Wren heard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Buzzard, Woodpigeon, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, 30 Pink Footed Geese over late on.
Saturday 21.09.19 a flock of 14 Mistle Thrush over and 6 more feeding in hedges.
