A male has made 2 visits to my garden so far today.
Mistle Thrush next door yesterday. In the fields between Runshaw Lane and Chapel Brook there were 3 GS Peckers, 17 Lapwing and c25 Redwing

Mid to late pm visit. 50+ Stock Dove, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Meadow Pipit, 13 Carrion Crow,2 Long tailed tits and a few commoner species but fairly quiet overall. Croston Moss 07.15 to 10.30 Fairly quiet. Most flooded areas had no birds at all. Compound had 3 Whoopers with 19 flying low over the mosses without landing-maybe on way to Bretherton.
