Hi All,
Dob Brow Pastures, SD 568160, Park up on Dob Brow at the Chorley end, follow the path through the gate keeping to the right, 200 yard ish & the pignut starts on the right of the path, 350 Chimney Sweepers moths were counted today at 2pm.

A bit difficult to ID your moth from a photo, it"s a very worn specimen, 15mm long, But I"d go for a Battered worn Chestnut,

We stopped the car several times & got out with our head torches, we did see a mating pair on the road, temp was 8c. unfortunately as well lane comes to the t Juction at the bottom of the hill, there must have been about 10 squash.
