Went on an "afternoon after the night before" walk round Upper Rivington 3-4pm to clear our heads.
Quite quiet with highlights being:

Mute Swan 3 juveniles on Lower Rivington

I think you're right with Green Sandpiper - probably explains why I've not seen it 2 out of 3 times I've heard it recently as I would have had my back to the river ! Made good use of the extra hour this morning with a return trip to LMC on a stunning morning from 745 to 915. Went back for seconds between 415 and 515.
No sign of the Harrier or Merlin, just Buzzard and Kestrel instead !
The Pintail and Wigeon still present. GWE not seen.
The only main addition from earlier were a couple of Ruff in with the Lapwing.

The Ringtail appeared about 1240pm and flew over my right shoulder towards the flood (from the bridge). Immediately I thought it was a Harrier but was surprised it was Hen after this week's Marsh !
