Banded Demoiselle
Neil, The Banded Demoiselle (male) was flying above grassland that borders Heapy Lodge #3 - I didn't know what the body of water was called so I asked a fisherman. Nora, I fogot to take my wildflower book with me yesterday, anything that I couldn't identify 100% I did a sketch of and some brief details. Looking at my notes again I think that I may have mis-identified the Bulbous buttercup - it was more likely to have been Creeping buttercup (Ranunculus repens)...

Great spotted woodpecker in woods above Big Lodge, Green-veined white butterfly on Primrose hill, Dipper collecting moss at weir, Grey wagtail at weir, Stoat alongside river Yarrow near cottage, Long tailed tits at Drybones, 2 Herons near Duxbury wood.
