2 recent visits for a family walk so only limited birdwatching.

9/5 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Yellowhammer, 2 Corn Bunting, 1 Lapwing, 3 Swallow,1 Green veined White, 3m 3f Orange Tip.
On way back home a Whimbrel flew in front of the car near to The Plough on Runshaw Lane, Euxton.

Robin feeding 2 young, Starling feeding young in eaves should be due to fledge any time now,Great tit feeding young, Squirrels bringing young to feeders.

My observations on Chiffchaff numbers in the area very different to yours with Euxton in particular having seemingly higher numbers than usual.

Lapwings
3 tractors muck spreading in field where 2 Lapwings were apparently on nests a week and a half ago. 3 adult birds were today standing by presumably having had there eggs/chicks destroyed.

Best was a Wheatear in the field behind Euxton Villa football.
