CVP MIGRATION

AT last summer migrants are moving through 5 further sand martin and single house martin low over the lake early am. at least 4 chiffchaff singing male blackcap in song near ice house wood. and as I type this both brambling 3 [2m 1f] and single chiffchaff in garden.

Glad to see the goshawk is still in the aggy/Coppull area first seen 5th nov chasing woodies over fields past private pond on sandy lane aggy my old stomping grounds as a kid good to go back regularly.

On return from Ulverston this evening over on to our smallholding to feed the sheep and sort out the chucks and ducks etc. The buddleia on the veg plot was full of butterfly's 6 painted ladys 4 red admiral 3 small torts and 2 peacocks all feeding away cracking sight.
