Thanks, Len. It was around 10.30 when I saw the Barn Owl in a field alongside the the Goit. Forgot to mention 3 Nuthatch.

Early this morning before the crowds. Nice view of a Barn Owl hunting and catching prey. 5 Willow Warblers. 3 Wrens. 3 Redpolls. Robins. Chaffinch. 1 Dunnock. Blackbirds. Magpies. 1 Mistle Thrush. 2 Jays. B/G and LT Tits. 1 Chiffchaff singing. 1 Dipper. Corvids and Woodpigeons. 4 Canada Geese.

Georges Lane this morning. All on the Lancashire side. 5 Ring Ouzels, 3 Female and 2 Male. Nice view of a Female Marsh Harrier flying low along the fence line near to were the path leads up to the pike. 1 Curlew over. Several Meadow Pipits. Chaffinch. 1 female Stonechat. 2 female Wheatear. Similar to Lens sightings along the Douglas yesterday. Also, Male and Female Goosanders, the female was asleep on a clump of grass. 7 Redshanks. 5 Canada Geese and 5 Moorhens.

Several Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs, all singing and Mallards and 1 Male Teal on a pond in the woods near the prison. Ridley Lane; Robins, Chaffinch, Two Bullfinch, B/G and LT Tits. 4 Jays chasing each other. Blackbirds. 2 GS Woodpeckers drumming. Song Thrush singing. Woodpigeons, Stock Doves, Corvids...
