A wander about on lower burgh meadow this morning 05.30 to 0700 produced 2 singing male sedge warblers. 2 reeling groppers one of which was wearing a ring. 4 singing willow warblers 2 singing blackcap . 1 singing whitetroat . The best views of the pair of shovler is from the path at the opposite side to sue ryder on the path up to the scramble track down the hill from the new rangers hq and left up the hill path or in from wigan road past the dragonfly pond over motorway and follow main path go get some good photos
