Nice to see Little Grebe again on the lodge today. Quieter in the woods, only 2 Blackcap evident but Willow Tit again along a section by the stream.

Bit quieter these last few days. Counted 5M and 2F Blackcap. Nuthatch still vocal but very little else. Only Coot and Moorhen on the lodge

Female Redstart just now by the 3rd tee at Chorley golf club. Youngest son then hit ball to 2 feet from the hole!!!

Did a cycling tour via Ulnes Walton, Wymott, Bretherton Eyes, Croston Sewage Works, and then home for a walk round Common Bank Lodge with the puppy. Highlights were also getting Lesser Whitethroat at Wymott, as well as Common Sandpiper flying along the River Douglas at the metal bridge. These 2 bird...
