Over the Douglas between Great hanging Bridge and Red bridge were c30 Swallow and a male Kestrel with falconry jesses attached to it's legs

Nice to bump into Gary this morning, though the only birds I can add to his list were a Moorhen with 2 juveniles on one of the ditches and a solitary Lapwing. Evening visit.

High Bullough Reservoir.
Adult Little Grebe feeding 2 stripey headed youngsters, presumably a 2nd brood, there was no sign of the 2 older chicks.
Tufted Duck 12. Mallard 10. Sparrowhawk. Swallow 3.

Anglezarke Reservoir north end.
Mallard c10. Cormorant 12 on the small island.
