Our next indoor meeting on Thursday 15th February is by Ben Tarvie and is entitled 'Bird Photography, Ringing and The Future'.

The meeting, as usual, is at St Mary's parish centre and starts at 7.30 p.m.

Little Egret on the Goit

I am told by a Brinscall resident that there has been a Little Egret on the Goit between Heather Lea Woods and White Coppice. Not sure if it is still there.

Big Lodge: 12 Tufted Duck,2 GC Grebes, 5 Mute Swans as well as lots of Mallard Coot and BH Gulls.
Top Lodge: Grey Heron, 1x Teal. Water Rail out in the open. 2 Reed Buntings. A few Moorhens.

Water Rail brings my Chorley list to one more than it was this morning. Gary should not be worried yet.
