Monkey Flower @YVP?

Came across a few wildflowers with yellow, foxglove-like flowers on Burgh Hall Road close to the fisherman's car park near YVP visitor centre. Can only pin them down to 'Monkey Flower' - has anybody else seen Monkey Flower in this area?

Very quiet today, which was not suprising considering the weather. Adult Mute Swans and cygnets were on the Big Lodge, as were adult Great Crested Grebes and the now large-ish juvenile. Adult Dipper very busy at the weir, flying downstream, returning to nest hole, then upstream and returning to nest...

Thanks Dave, I used to use a Tamron 90mm macro and a Pentax MX for my 35mm slide photos - unfortunately you'll only see that kit in a museum now!

The Terrapin was showing well on the Big Lodge this afternoon. I haven't seen it for a couple of years (if it's the same one?) And this is no baby, it's at least 8 inches across the body.
