Withnell Fold canal and flashes

Five singing Chiffchaff along the canal were the only sign of any migrants. Two Grey Heron, single Lapwing and 10 Black-headed Gulls were the only birds at the flashes. Highlight was a Greenshank flying over Yarrow Reservoir, first picked up on call as it came from the direction of Anglezarke Reservoir, then flew on towards Belmont.
