Went early to empty moth trap, first time this year. Buzzard calling and GS Woodpecker drumming tried to distract me but an Oak Beauty was worth keeping focused. Also had Common and Small Quaker, 3 Hebrew Character, and Clouded Drab

Hedgehog in good condition seen near the lake Thursday March 17. Little egret seen on the lake. Friday March 18: 8 Canada Geese, 3 heron re-building nests in trees on island in middle of lake, few mallards,great spotted woodpecker heard drumming.
