Pair of Ravens above my house just now, they are from Hoghton Tower.

2 x Treecreeper on an Oak Tree down Long Barn Brow.

Barn Owl flew alongside my car for 400 meters last night.

Tree Sparrows at property on Viaduct Rd.

Yesterday: Pair of Peregrines in the usual place; 1 x Kestrel; 3 x Buzzard; Weasel; Mistle Thrush; Song Thrush; 18 x Lapwing; pair Goosanders; numerous Nutchatch; 2 x Canada Geese; 2 x Tufted Duck.

14th Feb: 9 Lapwing; 2 Buzzard; 1 Sparrowhawk; 1 Kestrel; numerous Bullfinch; Barn Owl on a daily basis if not raining.

A weasel on Weasel Lane!!

Barn Owl, Hoghton

A new Barn Owl site in a barn in Hoghton.

Details have been passed to Neil Southworth. The site is not obvious as no public footpath runs close.

Two Barn Owls early this evening a mile apart. One is a regular visitor to the field opposite my property about 5 pm.
