Yarrow Reservoir

Late afternoon visit, 3.30-4.00
Mallard c50. Goosander 78 (!). Cormorant. Long tailed Tit c12.
Also a flock of c100 finch type birds flew over the reservoir, there seemed to be a few white rumps amongst them so I think at least some were Brambling

A rather atmospheric stroll over a very misty Anglezarke moor today, although the poor visibility meant that the only birds noted were a couple of Red Grouse calling on the moor and 2 Stonechat on Dean Black Brook.
