A wander around Holts Flat and Old Rachels via Lead mine clough. very small dead Hedgehog on School lane, Brinscall and another small one dead at Withnell Fold, (though how you can go fast enough run over something on such a narrow cobbled street is beyond me)

Sightings similar to Gary's.. I counted 36 Wigeon and estimated 200-250 Canada Geese with a single Greylag Goose amongst them.
Just before the others arrived 6 small unidentified waders flew in and circled the flood before heading west.

Pintail (spotted by an eagle eyed Gary) take my score to 128

11.00 am visit. 14 Black-tailed Godwits flew in from the west and landed in the flooded field by the Yarrow. 6 Golden Plover flew in low from the same direction but I didn't see them land. 2 very small unidentifed waders circled high over the main flood, but also didn't land.
