Yesterday was an interesting day.

While looking out my front window in Whittle-le-woods (within 30 seconds) I saw a Raven a Fox and a Sparrowhawk...

Ravens..

While out running yesterday I saw Raven's on Dawson lane, around Buckshaw village and at Astley park.

I have never seen so many Ravens on one day in so many places around the same time.

Goldcrest...

A two hour visit to Brockholes this afternoon, a bit chilly but dry. Highlight - A real close up of two Goldcrest's which I haven't seen for a few years. Also: Three Roe deer no more than 20 feet away and we were told that a Murmuration of up to 20,000 starlings have been seen most days around 16:00...

EL Caminito del Rey..Malaga, Spain.

A fantastic trip to see the Griffon vulture's at the "Caminito del rey" a narrow gorge in El Chorro, Ardales in the province of Málaga.

What a awesome bird, I counted a dozen in one spot ... Also: A pair of Chough which was a lovely bonus.

On holiday and Without really Birding...

Collard dove, Common Myna, Ruddy turnstone, Whimbrel, Green sandpiper, Jackdaw, Huge Crows, White cheeked bulbul, Grey heron, Dusky warbler, Reed bunting and last but not least... Amur falcon...

My Back Garden..

My Back garden whittle-le-woods, Lupin close..

2- Collard Doves, 2- Wood pigeons and 2- Buzzards so low over my head i could almost touch them... Also; the usual Magpies and Crows and Jackdaws..

The Buzzards are present almost every day lately..!!!

Yesterday afternoon 14:30 while running past the small pond in Cuerden Valley at the bottom of Factory lane "pass cheeky monkey's play centre" I saw a LITTLE GREBE diving... It's been a couple of years since I’ve seen that bird there.

A nice surprise...

Garden highlights.

Yesterday in back garden Lupin close, whittle. (14:00 to 21:30)

9- Ring-necked parakeets, 2- buzzards, Several Pipistrelle's (I think), 4- Herring gulls, Lots of young magpies...

Also: heard a Fox around midnight and Tawny Owl...

Yesterday was the first time that I've ever heard a Cuckoo at the back of my house (Lupin close)...
