Hi Neil.
I have a photo dated 19th May 2014 showing adult and 4 small young. A photo dated 11th sept 2014 showing adult with 3 well grown young. I noticed this monday 13-10-14 that only 2 young were visible.

Greenshank feeding between watermans cottage and mud islands 20/8/14 around 11:00am, also adult Ringed Plover on mud islands, Plover was hassled off by Lapwings and was last seen flying erratically low south down Anglezarke res. It is Gary. Best count of Wigeon i've had in years on the reservoir complex, at best it's one or two, with many blank years. I watched them arrive from the south, about 12:30. Neil. According to my daughter who dropped me off at Rivington Bowling club in the pouring rain, I gave you the wrong date. Plenty Red Grouse seen and heard between Anglezarke & White Coppice on the moors today, low numbers of pipits & larks tho.

No neil, although i was around the area at 15:00 when the med gull was reported. There were gulls down by the millstone embankment area and two figures walking on waters edge close to millstone end, could have been them that reported it.
I was looking for Wheatear on the moors :(
